Topic: Addressing the Role of Standardized Tests in the Accessibility to Education
Standardized testing is an inescapable part of modern education and allows for comparisons to be made among schools in regards to student achievement, ensures accountability for teachers, and has the ability to inform instruction for educators. It is used as accountability measures to determine if funds are well spent and if school personnel are meeting their charges. However, the limitation of these tests is that they can generate negative perceptions in students about their abilities and themselves. Delegates of this committee will debate how common standardized tests such as the SAT or the ACT affect accessibility to education and how they can deal and provide solutions to standardized testing.

Greetings, my name is Yuni! I am from Sekolah Victory Plus, currently pursuing my second year in IB Diploma. I had my MUN conference debut back in 2018, and continued my journey in other schools’ and university-level MUN conferences. It is my biggest pleasure to become the chair in EDUSUMMIT 2021. I am very excited to meet new delegates, sounding with new experiences, as well as to create new friends. I truly hope that all delegates will enjoy their time while joining this conference, and therefore gain new knowledge. For further questions, you may contact @yuniixx on Instagram. I am looking forward to meeting you!
